Father, hear our prayers for mercy, and by the help of Saint Nicholas,
keep us safe from all danger, and guide us on the way to salvation.

SAN NICOLA di BARI - SANTO PATRONO di MONTAZZOLI
San Nicola era un vescova che viveva in Turchia nel
quarto secolo. Durante le crociere sante, il suo corpo fu trasportato
in Italia a Bari. Dao molti racconti del suoi miracoli ed il suo
aiuto per i giovani San Nicola e riconosciuto como l'aunico del bambini.
Essendo stato sepolto nel vicino Bari, e onorato dal popolo di
Montazzoli como il suo Santo Patrono. Datosi che era amico dei bambini,
San Nicola e riconosciuto per tutto il mundo como "Babbo Natale".
SAINT NICHOLAS of BARI - PATRON SAINT of MONTAZZOLI
St. Nicholas was a bishop who lived in Turkey in the fourth century. During
the crusades his body was moved to Bari, Italy. Many stories about his miracles
and his care for the young made him famous as a friend of children.
Having been buried in neighboring Bari, he is honored by the people of
Montazzoli as their patron saint. Because of his friendship with children,
he is best known throughout the world as "ole Saint Nick" or "Santa Claus".
